VPN & Working from Home


Email & Radar

When required, everyone has the ability to work remotely, with full access to your email on any device via https://outlook.office365.com/owa/. Radar is accessible wherever you are, while the Teams app is available for iOS and Android devices and we would request that you have this installed just in case; Teams and email will be used to communicate important business announcements, for example in the event of bad weather or disruption in the office.

VPN

To access the Revere or video servers, you will first need to sign into the Forticlient VPN. The SSL VPN application can be downloaded from https://www.forticlient.com/downloads. Most Revere laptops have this installed already but please let me know if you need any assistance here.

To configure the application, please locate the installation on your device and configure it using the following details:

  • Server address: https://remote.thisisrevere.com:8443
  • Username (example): chris.scott
  • Password (example): CsxxxxxxVPN

If you don't know your username and/or password or have troubles connecting please let Chris Scott know.

Once connected you will be able to navigate to the server via: smb://10.1.28.3/Company for the Revere server and smb://10.1.28.1/VideoFiles for the video server. For PC users, you'll need to access \\10.1.28.1\VideoFiles and \\10.1.28.3\Company via Windows Explorer. Please download any files to your local device before making the required amends, rather than working directly from the server.

Creative Cloud

Each user who has a Creative Cloud licence can use it on two devices. Please speak with Jeremy Lewis if you are unsure of your Creative Cloud credentials and need to use the account on a device at home.
